For every unit project we do in class, we have to write a process paper. The thing I enjoyed about this project was that I was able to reflect on my work. When I had to write about how long it took to make the visual aid part of my project, I realized that it takes about 45 minuets to an hour to make a powerpoint with good information. One thing that was difficult was making sure I was detailed enough in the reflection of my work. By reviewing my project, I was able to write the process paper because I had completed all the tasks the process paper asked me to reflect on. Next time, I will try and add more information and be more detailed while reflecting on my work.

I used this timeline on my unit 3 project to help me with the analysis section. The software used for this timeline was Inspiration and I used the timeline template to help me organize my information. One thing that I enjoyed while making the timeline was that the template I used already had space for me to put my information. Something that I found difficult was that I couldn't change the picture that was in the timeline. By using the timeline, I was able to have the analysis section of my project finished. One thing that worked was that the students could use it in class, during my project, to organize the events as they happened. Next time I will add in more dates under the time section.

Communication Process

On this powerpoint project I did with Kathryn Cushman, I earned a 100%. I found this project fun because we were able to work on it with other people and split up the work that needed to be done. Also, I liked decorating the powerpoint. The one thing I found difficult was that we had to make sure that we had everything finished by the due date. One thing that really worked for this project was the powerpoint because we collaborated well when we decided what to put in the powerpoint and how. The only thing that I would do differently would have to be the content that we put in the powerpoint and being a little more organized.

Collaboration and Community

Demonstrates growth and competence in:
workplace expectations/skills/abilities, workplace resources, collaboration and teamwork, decision making, problem solving, creativity, navigating the community,
civic engagement (leadership, social skill, politeness, task skill, helpfulness, diversity, clarity, success of outcomes)

In language arts class, we did a group project on different time periods of African American History. I worked with Kathryn and Ian, and together we created a power point. Before we made the power point, we had to research our own topics and then fit them in together on the power point. One thing that was difficult when working on the project was that we had to make sure that what we were researching fitted together with the other topics. One thing that worked well was that we were able to create a successful power point. Something that I would have done differently was to add more pictures in our project, but overall we worked well together.
